The location could be inconvenient for some, being a 10-15 minute walk from the nearest train station!!! Room cleaning every four days means no fresh towels if you're there for a short stay!!! Slight morning noise from housekeeping might disrupt your rest!!!

Also, the staff gave stellar recommendations, including a must-try at Ippudo Nishiki-Koji. Plus, the vibe in the lobby’s cocktail bar was fantastic and perfect for winding down after a day of exploring.

But let’s be real. this is a BUDGET hotel, not a proper 4-star. The wet carpet smell lingered for our 4-day stay, and the noise insulation? Non-existent. I could hear every footstep outside! To top it off, the sink is in the middle of the room—what’s up with that? Honestly, not feeling the price for this setup.

my stay was memorable since i could easily stroll to nearby attractions like nishiki market, which was less than a 15-minute walk, and heian shrine, providing lovely park views just a bit further away, making it perfect for weekend city exploring.

i had a great stay at kabin! the rooms were nice and clean with really good showers. it's located in a calm neighborhood and super close to subway stations. You can easily walk to plenty of restaurants and attractions. the staff were friendly and always ready to help, which made my solo trip even better.
